Nostalgia is a tender double‑edge in my work. It warms, then stings. In these paintings, I follow the pull of memory—how it can soften the world with longing while sharpening what’s been lost. The past becomes a watercolor blur: comforting, haunting, and always shifting. I paint to honor that tension, letting each wash hold both the sweetness of what I remember and the ache of what I can’t return to.
