Collecting connects me with the seeds of memory that encompassed my childhood. I grew up in homes filled with stories, stacks, full corners, fruitful gardens, and endless collections. These things formed a fortress around me. There is a protection in what accumulation can hold. This series is a reflection of the essential sources for my art- finding balance between holding on to the past while breaking down its material traces.
