From my summer exploring oils:

The way we are brought up, the learned behaviors we acquire, and the ideas taught to us as we grow up are not set in stone. We have the ability to change the direction of our lives and our future. I draw upon the past to shape a new path for my life and express it through my new journey in oil painting.
