Utilizing contrasting colors, composition, & symbolism, I portray the societal expectations and challenges women face in oil painting. Bird imagery, in particular, serves as a powerful metaphor. Birds symbolize freedom, transformation, & motherhood, with their flight patterns echoing the struggles and aspirations of women. I capture individuality and classic realism through various bird species.
